LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified the victim of a Las Vegas house fire as a 28-year-old woman.
The Clark County coroner's office says Carmen Salomon died in the fire early Friday on Brenner Way.
While her cause of death is still pending, investigators say it appears Solomon died of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters found her unconscious in thick smoke in a garage adjoining the house. The garage had been converted into an apartment.
She was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center.
Solomon's three children and mother escaped the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
