LAS VEGAS (AP) - Slightly fewer passengers arrived and departed from McCarran International Airport this January compared with a year earlier.
Airport data released Thursday shows a little more than 3.1 million passengers used the Las Vegas airport last month, down 1.6 percent from January 2012.
The number of passengers flying domestically was down about 2 percent, while international traffic was up about 2 percent.
Traffic for all of 2012 was up 0.4 percent in 2012 compared with 2011. More than 41.5 million passengers used the airport last year.
McCarran ranks as the seventh-busiest airport nationally and 20th worldwide by passenger volume.
