LAS VEGAS (AP) - The New Year's fireworks in Las Vegas may take your breath away, and not in a good way.

Clark County officials have issued an air quality advisory that begins the night of New Year's Eve and runs into the New Year's Day. They say smoke from fireworks may aggravate respiratory diseases.

An eight-minute pyrotechnics show set to music is expected to begin at the stroke of midnight, with fireworks shooting from the tops of seven hotel-casinos along the Las Vegas Strip.

More than 330,000 tourists are expected in town for the holiday.
