White House hopeful John Edwards highlighted his union support at a campaign stop in Las Vegas today.
Edwards appeared with members of the carpenters and steelworkers
He's recently won the backing of both groups.
The carpenters union has about 12-thousand members in Nevada.
The steelworkers union represents about three thousand cab drivers
and factory workers in the state.
The union support should be a boost for Edwards' campaign in Nevada.
The campaign moved some of its staff out of the state to aid with efforts in Iowa and New Hampshire.
Union volunteers are expected to help restore the ranks.
Nevada is scheduled to hold the second caucus in the nation on January 19th.
