LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Henderson soldier who died in Iraq this month was honored on the weekend at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Center.
Army Reserve Staff Sergeant Coby Schwab was buried Saturday before a crowd of three-hundred people.
Schwab died along with another soldier as they were trying to recover a Humvee and the injured soldiers inside when he was killed by an improvised explosive device.
Schwab was 25 years old.
Schwab was on his second tour of duty in Iraq after joining the Army in 2000.
His family was presented with the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Meritorious Service medals.
