HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - A 73-year-old man has died after he was
struck by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Henderson.
Police say the man was crossing Boulder Highway near Warm Springs Road just after midnight Wednesday when he was hit. He died at the scene.
Henderson police say the man was outside of a crosswalk. The 25-year-old driver of the Chevy Silverado that hit him had a green light at the time.
Authorities say speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
The victim's name has not yet been released pending notification of his family.
The incident marks the fourth accident-related death in Henderson this year.
