LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas car dealership has removed a 109-foot-tall flagpole after the Nevada Supreme Court ruled against it.
Towbin Automotive Group had flown a huge American flag atop the
pole, but Las Vegas code says flagpoles must be 40 feet tall or lower unless the City Council grants an exception.
The council initially permitted the flagpole but reversed its decision after residents complained about wind noise from the flag.
