LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say they're investigating the slaying of a clerk at a liquor store in southeast Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police Lt. Lewis Roberts says the clerk was found dead behind the counter with multiple gunshot wounds after police were called a little before 11:30 p.m. to the store off Tropicana Avenue east of the US 95 freeway.
Roberts said the dead man's name will be released by the Clark County coroner.
No information was immediately available about the number or identity of assailants, or a motive for the slaying.
