Police Investigate Bloody Body Found Near Strip

LAS VEGAS (AP) - LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are investigating the discovery of a bloody body in some bushes at the Caesars Palace resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

Homicide Lt. Lewis Roberts says the case is being investigated as suspicious, and a possible homicide. But he says it's not clear yet how the person died.

Roberts says detectives began carefully collecting evidence after the body was found about 7:30 a.m.

Roberts says the dead person appears to be a male in his 20s. He says there was a lot of blood nearby in the landscaping near a tunnel leading to The Forum Shops.

Roberts says the site isn't visible from the Strip.
