Gunman Sought in Casino Hold-up

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police are looking for a gunman who robbed a cashier at one of Las Vegas' biggest hotel-casinos before dawn and rode away on a motorcycle.

Officer Bill Cassell says no injuries were reported after the 4:42 a.m. Friday robbery at the MGM Grand.

A hotel spokeswoman says a cashier in the high-limit slot machine area complied with instructions to turn over money, and the casino was cooperating with police.

Cassell says the man was in his 30s, with an average build, dark hair and dark clothing.

The Las Vegas police spokesman says he's got no information about a hat or a mask, and he says can't say what type of gun the robber had.

But he says he didn't wear a helmet when he got on the motorcycle.
