LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a 12-year-old boy who was shot in the face yesterday while answering the door of a home in northeast Las Vegas is expected to survive. Investigators say they think the boy knew his assailant in the 3:10 p.m. shooting on a quiet neighborhood street near Lake Mead and Jones boulevards. But the assailant has not been found. Authorities say the shooting may be gang-related.
