Dennis Rodman Ordered to Pay Former Casino Worker

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A federal judge in Las Vegas is ordering former basketball star Dennis Rodman to pay a former casino employee $225,000 for grabbing and humiliating her at work in March 2006.

A lawyer for 28-year-old Sara Ure said Monday that Rodman never responded to the civil lawsuit filed against him in November 2007.

U.S. District Court Judge Robert C. Jones entered a default judgment Monday against Rodman.

No lawyer for Rodman was cited in the case file. Rodman's marketing agent did not immediately respond to a telephone message.

Ure is a former beverage manager at the Hard Rock Casino. She accused Rodman of pulling her against him and forcing her to dance, holding her against her will, and slapping her backside in front of subordinates and patrons.
