Traffic Expected on Vegas Strip With Construction

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities are expecting four days of overnight and morning traffic delays on the Las Vegas Strip as officials build a pedestrian bridge near CityCenter.

MGM Mirage officials say the bridge will cross Las Vegas Boulevard at East Harmon Avenue, outside the $8.7 billion casinodevelopment expected to open in stages starting later this year.

Officials for the casino company say the delays will run from about midnight to 10 each morning from Monday through Thursday.

MGM Mirage officials say that eventually, pedestrian bridges will connect CityCenter to the Cosmopolitan hotel, and the Cosmopolitan to Planet Hollywood.
