LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say they're talking to the mother of a child found alone in a stroller on a busy city street corner.
Officer Barbara Morgan says the child, who police said appeared to be less than 1 year old, has been identified.
No details yet about how police found the mother. Morgan says she's still being questioned.
She was nowhere to be found when the girl was discovered about noon Wednesday in a dark blue stroller with a yellow pattern on at Charleston Boulevard and Pecos Road east of downtown Las Vegas.
Police say a stuffed animal with the name "CRISS" written in pink was found on the stroller, and a blue knapsack with child care items in it was found nearby.
