Henderson to Furlough Employees, Make More Buyouts

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Henderson is adopting a furlough program
and a second round of employee buyouts to make up for budget
shortfalls. The city added to previous cost-saving measures with a
vote last night to have employees take up to 12 days of unpaid
leave beginning next Monday, and to offer job buyouts to up to 25
employees.
