LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 69-year-old tourist who died after being struck by a car on the Las Vegas Strip as Xudong Liu (CHU'-dong LOO') of San Jose, Calif.
The Clark County coroner's office says Liu died Monday at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police say Liu was running across Las Vegas Boulevard near Convention Center Drive when he was struck about 11:40 p.m. Sunday by a 1998 Cadillac Seville driven by 21-year-old Erika Hart of Las Vegas.
Police say Liu entered the roadway against a "don't walk"
