LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Nevada judge plans to close the courtroom when prosecutors present their key evidence that they say shows a man videotaping his sexual assault of a 2-year-old girl.
A court spokesman says Clark Court District Court Judge Jennifer Togliatti decided Wednesday that the court audience and media will
be blocked from seeing the video when it is shown to the jury hearing evidence against Chester Arthur Stiles.
The 38-year-old Stiles faces multiple life terms if convicted of lewdness and sexual assault with a minor under 14.
Court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer says the judge thinks the video is too graphic and too sensitive to make public. It might be shown to the jury as early as Thursday.
