Nevada Gets Short End of Stimulus Stick

LAS VEGAS (AP) - It looks like the big federal economic stimulus
bill has Nevada at the bottom of the list for funding on a
per-person basis.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal cites reports by the
Nevada State Budget Office, Congressional Research Service and
other groups. It says the $1.5 billion in total funding puts Nevada
50th out of 51 states and the District of Columbia.

But the 34,000 jobs the stimulus package aims to save or create ranks the Silver State second.
