LAS VEGAS (AP) - A federal jury has found a Las Vegas
anesthesiologist liable of committing Medicare fraud.
U.S. Attorney Greg Brower says Eugene Chen was found to have
submitted more than 3,500 fraudulent claims for services between
1999 and 2006.
Prosecutors say the services were either not provided or were
not properly requested under the terms of the Medicare part B
Brower says the false claim forms resulted in paid
reimbursements to Chen of more than $420,000.
