Fleiss Gives Up Stud Farm Plan

PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) - Former "Hollywood Madam" Heidi Fleiss
says she's abandoning plans to open a brothel catering to women in
rural southern Nevada.
Fleiss announced plans in 2005 to open a bordello called
"Heidi's Stud Farm" featuring male prostitutes at a property she
owns outside Pahrump.
She tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal she's changed her mind.
Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo said Fleiss never applied for a
brothel license.
The 43-year-old Fleiss moved to Nye County after serving prison
time in California for running a high-priced prostitution ring.
She now runs a coin-operated laundry called Dirty Laundry.
She also faces a May 8 hearing in a felony methamphetamine and
hydrocodone drug case stemming from Feb. 7, 2008, arrest in
Pahrump.
