Man, 21, Sentenced In Halloween 2007 Gang Slaying

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 21-year-old accused gang member has been
sentenced to 10 years to life in prison in for killing a rival gang
member at a Halloween party in 2007.

Edward Walker Jr. told Clark County District Court Judge Michael Villani on Thursday that he accepted responsibility for shooting Jamal Hill to death at the party in North Las Vegas.

Walker pleaded guilty in December to second-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
