LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are seeking public help to
identify two thieves who they say dressed as Clark County
firefighters and stole flat screen televisions from an apartment
building near UNLV.
Police say the men weren't really firefighters. They're seen on
security videos Jan. 9 at a building near Cambridge Street and
Flamingo Road wearing dark blue T-shirts with the words "Clark
County Fire Dept." across the back and a Fire Department logo on
the front, dark pants and black boots. They even carry radios.
Police say they're seen entering a workout room and where two
flat-screens were stolen from the wall.
Police say the men drove away in a burgundy or dark red
Chevrolet or Ford pickup truck.
