Las Vegas Girl Shot

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a 37-year-old father has
been arrested and two children placed in protective custody after a
minor girl was shot and killed by another child who found a gun in
a bedroom.
Police said Thursday that the children were playing in a bedroom
when they found the gun Wednesday night.
The father, Jevell Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of being
an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, one count of felony child
abuse with substantial bodily harm and two more counts of child
abuse.
