HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Henderson city officials are being asked to approve a 40-acre mixed-use project that would include the tallest building in the city.
But the city Planning Commission is recommending limiting the height of a proposed 330-foot-high, 1,700-unit residential tower at the project to 250 feet.
The building still would surpass the 230-foot Sunset Station as the tallest building in Henderson.
The project called Park Heights being developed by Las Vegas-based GSG Development.
It would also include a 13-story condo tower, a 12-story hotel, retail outlets and offices on the lot near Stephanie Street and Interstate 215.
The City Council is due to consider the proposal on Dec. 16.
