Henderson Police Find Body In Desert

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Police are investigating a charred body discovered in the desert south of the Henderson Executive Airport as a homicide.

Two off-duty police officers discovered the body Friday morning. They could not immediately determine the gender or the identification.

Detectives were looking for a connection between this case and two other burned bodies discovered in the desert last week.

Police say the couple found burned in a car were in their mid-20s. They were both shot in the back of the head.
