A Ukrainian man who was extradited from Croatia has pleaded not guilty in Nevada federal court to allegations that he was part of a worldwide online scheme to buy and sell stolen personal and financial information.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Ukrainian man who was extradited from Croatia has pleaded not guilty in Nevada federal court to allegations that he was part of a worldwide online scheme to buy and sell stolen personal and financial information.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say 37-year-old Sergei Litvinenko arrived in custody in Las Vegas on Friday.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Koope ordered Litvinenko held Monday without bond on a conspiracy to engage in a racketeer influenced corrupt organization charge.

Llitvinenko's lawyer, Charles Kelly, didn't immediately respond to messages.

Prosecutors allege that Litvinenko used the alias "Dorbik" in an online marketplace called Carder.su where counterfeit documents and stolen identity and bank account information were sold.

More than 50 people have been indicted in the case, including several leaders believed to in Russia.
