LAS VEGAS (AP) - Prosecutors say three people have been indicted in the death of a homeless man whose body was found in a Las Vegas trash bin.
A police report indicates of 50-year-old Carl Renae Simon was beaten, stabbed, stuffed in a suitcase and drowned in an apartment bathtub during a dispute over drugs and money. His body was found Aug. 12 by a man searching the trash east of downtown.
Theresa Allen, 46, Emilio Evalio Arenas, 43, and Peyton Hemingway, 37, were charged with killing him.
Allen told police she witnessed the killing and helped dispose of the body, while another defendant says Allen also helped in the beating.
