LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in the desert about four miles east of the city after an apparent domestic dispute.

KLAS-TV reports 22-year-old Sinthia Stephanie Cruz died Friday from multiple gunshot wounds. Her ex-boyfriend, Angel Omar Cruz, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

A caller told police about 10 p.m. that he found the two bodies in a desert area southeast of Nellis Air Force Base off of East Lake Mead Boulevard. The woman was inside a vehicle and the man was on the ground next to it.
