Man Hospitalized After Dog Attack In West Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A man is hospitalized after being mauled by four dogs in an attack in a West Las Vegas neighborhood.

Authorities say the dogs got loose about 10:30 a.m. Friday and attacked a door-to-door salesman.

A witness tells KLAS-TV that motorists stopped and grabbed rocks
and other items to hit the dogs to get them off the man.

Details about his injuries weren't immediately made public. Witnesses say he was badly bitten in the leg.

Las Vegas Animal Control officers captured and quarantined the four dogs. Their owner hasn't been identified.
