Police Identify Construction Worker Killed In Vegas

Police say the construction worker killed over the weekend by a crane at the CityCenter construction site was 39-year-old Dustin Tarter of Henderson.

Fire officials say Tarter died Saturday when he was working on a
moving crane at the site of the massive complex. He apparently became caught between the counter weight system and the track of
the crane.

About 600 workers were on site when Tarter died near the site of the casino building.

Tarter is the sixth person to die at the site of the megaresort since MGM Mirage Inc. broke ground in 2006.

An MGM Mirage spokeswoman says the site was shut down to allow Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials to investigate.
