Police have arrested a man on one count of murder and one count of illegal possession of a firearm in the shooting death of a father in a Las Vegas park.
33-year-old Faustino Sigala was shot and killed in October while
he was pushing his two children and another boy on the swings at
Martin Luther King Park.
Authorities say one of the boy's fell off the swing. His mother
was watching from inside her car and began shouting at Sigala.
Gregory Lee Spann was also in the park that night. Spann saw his
mother yelling and ran toward Sigala.
Police say he began shooting as Sigala fled. Spigala fell and Spann fired several shots into him, according to the arrest report.
Spann was previously convicted of assault and a gun charge in 2004.
