LAS VEGAS (AP) - Ridership on the Las Vegas Monorail is off to a
better start this year.
A new report shows ridership up 19 percent in the first three month of 2008 over the same period last year.
The numbers also are better than 2006, but still below the 2.3 million rider level in the first quarter of 2005.
Just less than 2 million people rode the tourist train in the first quarter.
Total revenue for the period was $7.3 million.
