LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say they've made an arrest in the shooting of a Las Vegas high school sophomore.
No names yet, but authorities say he's believed to be the one who wounded the 16-year-old victim near Gibson Middle School on Monday afternoon.
The victim's a student at Western High School. He's been listed in fair condition at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Police allege the shooter was part of a group of who jumped out of a vehicle and fought with a teenager before the shooting.
The victim is reported to be a friend of the person involved in the scuffle, who jumped in to help.
