LAS VEGAS (AP) - Additional felony charges have been added against a teenager who prosecutors say drove a car from which shots were fired, killing a Las Vegas high school sophomore earlier this month.
A Clark County District Court spokeswoman says Ezekiel Williams, 18, now faces 12 charges including murder, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy in the Feb. 15 slaying of 15-year-old Christopher Privett near Palo Verde High School.
Williams is accused of making a U-turn to let 16-year-old Gerald Q. Davison shoot toward a group of teens who police say flashed gang symbols toward the car. Police say Williams handed a gun to Davison, and urged him to shoot.
Davison is charged as an adult with the same charges as Williams.
A judge set a preliminary hearing for both teens on March 19. They're both being held without bail at the Clark County jail.
