Buyers Sue Pinnacle Las Vegas Condo Developers For Undone Project

Condominium buyers have filed a class action lawsuit against the developers of the Pinnacle Las Vegas condo tower, which still has not been built despite its announcement three years ago.

The proposed $740 million condo-hotel was to be developed at Tropicana Avenue and Cameron Street.

Green Cable LLC last month sued the project's development team for breach of contract.

It's seeking at least $5 million in returned deposits, damages and attorney's fees.

The lawsuit alleges that buyers bought units with the understanding that Pinnacle would open by August.

Pinnacle calls for two 36-story, faceted gold glass towers connected by three sky bridges containing 1,100 condo-hotel units.

Cynthia LaVasseur, an attorney representing the defendants, says
the suit is without merit and that the companies will file an action to dismiss it.
