Caesars Palace Dealers Holding Union Vote

Dealers at Caesars Palace are deciding if they want to join the Transport Workers Union of America.

If the dealers approve the move in a Saturday vote they will become the second group of local dealers at high-end casinos to unionize.

The Las Vegas Dealers Local 721, an affiliate of the Transport Workers union, would represent about 560 dealers at Caesars Palace.

The union won an election to organize dealers at Wynn Las Vegas
in May.

Saturday's vote will be held in two sessions overseen by the National Labor Relations Board. The votes will be tallied after the polls close at 11:30 p.m. and announced Sunday.
