Entertainment Tonight Co-Anchor Steines To Host Miss America

Entertainment Tonight co-anchor Mark Steines has been booked to host the Miss America contest next year.

The organization says the live show will air on TLC from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The two-hour event is the finale of a four-part reality show designed to prepare the 52 contestants to win the competition.

Besides winning three Emmy Awards, Steines was named one of People magazine's "Sexiest Men" in 2004.

Miss America president Art McMaster says Steines already has a great appreciation for the show, since he's married to the Miss America from 1993, Leanza Cornett.
