Police are investigating the death of a homeless man whose charred and smoking body was found in a makeshift camp in a drainage culvert behind a strip mall.
The man's been identified as 61-year-old Peter Joseph Dealessandro of Las Vegas.
A Clark County coroner's spokeswoman says a cause of death hasn't been determined.
Las Vegas police Sgt. Mike Thompson said there was no obvious evidence he was beaten, shot or stabbed.
Investigators weren't immediately sure how the fire started.
A fire official says Dealessandro's burnt clothing has been sent to a
lab for analysis.
A neighbor tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Dealessandro told him on Saturday he was being preyed upon by teenagers.
