LAS VEGAS (AP) - A driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a McDonalds restaurant in southeast Las Vegas this morning.
The car sped out of control, hitting the concrete embankment and
missed the guard rail by a few inches.
It then flew about 10 feet and destroyed the McDonalds' wall. Employees had no idea what was coming when the car burst through.
Police say the mid-morning crash was an accident.
Four employees, one person in the drive-through lane and also the driver were taken to hospitals following the accident.
All had minor injuries.
The entire vehicle fit inside the counter area, smashing the soda fountain and flooding the area.
The crash is being treated as an accident. Police say the driver will likely face a charge for losing control of the car due to speed.
