A judge says O.J. Simpson and five co-defendants accused of kidnapping and robbing two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint are set to appear in a Las Vegas court on Nov. 8.
Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure Jr. consolidated and rescheduled a preliminary hearing after an open-court conference with prosecutors and lawyers in the case.
Clark County District Attorney David Roger did not oppose the hearing date.
Simpson and the others will have to appear in person when prosecutors present evidence alleging they held two men in a Las Vegas hotel room Sept. 13 and made off with boxes full of items, including some that Simpson has claimed belonged to him.
Each defendant is charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, assault, burglary and conspiracy.
