A nurse's aide has won nearly $6.4 million in a progressive keno jackpot at the Sam's Town casino in Las Vegas.
The man would only give his name as "Eddie."
He wore sunglasses and a hat to a press conference to conceal his identity because he says where he comes from, having money can bring death threats.
Eddie played five lucky numbers in the Nevada Numbers game almost every day for two years in a combination that includes the age of his wife and their children.
Eddie says he is an immigrant who moved his family to the United States for a better life.
Jon Berkley, the president of game operator Las Vegas Gaming Inc., called winning the largest keno jackpot in history "the embodiment of living the American Dream."
