JEAN, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say a person has died while skydiving in windy weather south of Las Vegas.
KLAS-TV reports the incident happened Saturday near the small town of Jean.
The Clark County coroner's office says the person's parachute did open, but windy weather was a factor in the death.
An investigation is under way. No other details were released.
