LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say one person is dead after a nighttime shooting outside a Las Vegas apartment complex.
Las Vegas police say they responded to reports of gunfire a little after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pinewood Apartments, near the intersection of Swenson Street and Twain Avenue.
Police say they found a male on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say a group of men and women were heard arguing shortly before gunshots rang out and people were seen running from the area.
Authorities say they haven't arrested anyone and are still investigating.
The Clark County coroner hasn't yet released the name of the person who died.
