1 Dead After Car Hits Wall in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say one person is dead after a car slammed into a wall southeast of downtown Las Vegas.
Authorities say the crash happened just before 9 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Palora Avenue and McLeod Drive. That's not far from Desert Inn Road.
Police say a male and a female were in the car. The female was taken to Sunrise Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Officer Laura Meltzer says the male's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
