The deadline to register online to vote is this weekend. If you are not already registered, Nevadans may register online until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday.

The process involves answering simple questions and providing personal information.

Secretary of State Ross Miller cautioned if too many people try to register online at the same time, it could overload the system -- and delay those registrations. Miller urged people to not wait until the last minute.

Voters may also mail in a registration form, but it can not be post-marked later than October 6th, according to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters office.

Those registering in-person have additional time -- the deadline is October 16th.

Currently, Republicans out-number Democrats in Washoe County. Statewide, there are more actively voting Democrats.
