Former Nevada Governor Bob Miller is telling his story in a new book, “Son of a Gambling Man”. He appeared on KOLO 8 News Now Daybreak to talk about his book.
The story goes through his early life in Chicago all the way to his reign as longest-serving Governor in Nevada history and beyond. Along the way, his life path crossed with some “colorful characters”, prominent politicians and historic moments most of us only read about or saw on TV.
The forward of the book is written by President Bill Clinton.
Governor Miller will be signing books at Barnes and Noble in Reno on March 25th at 7pm. He will also be in Carson City at noon signing books at Comma Coffee. That's at 312 S. Carson Street.
The book is on sale online and at book stores now.
