WASHINGTON (AP) - Advocates for comprehensive immigration legislation see this summer as the last real window for Congress to act, and they're aiming to pressure the House GOP.

If nothing happens by August, they say legislation will be dead for the year. Then all eyes will be on President Barack Obama to see if he will act on his own to help the 11.5 million people in the country illegally.

Recent comments by a handful of House Republicans - including Speaker John Boehner - have suggested some in the GOP caucus want to deal with the thorny issue.

Business lobbyists saying they're approaching lawmakers one on one to try to create a groundswell in favor of acting.

But some conservatives say Boehner risks a revolt if he brings the issue up.
