LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is due to return to Las Vegas this fall as keynote speaker for a UNLV Foundation dinner at a Las Vegas Strip resort.
Foundation official Tori Klein said Tuesday that organizers expect more than 1,000 guests at the minimum $200-per-plate private fundraiser at the Bellagio.
Clinton has been on tour promoting her book, "Hard Choices."
UNLV spokeswoman Afsha Bawany said Clinton's $225,000 speaking fee is being paid by private donors to her New York-based booking agent, the Harry Walker Agency.
An April 10 speech by Clinton to a Las Vegas convention was marked by the arrest of a Phoenix woman who threw an athletic shoe at the former first lady on stage at the Mandalay Bay resort.
