GOP Keeps Focus on Libya Consulate Attack

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) - It's an issue that is sure to come up again next week when President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney debate for a third and final time, with the focus on foreign policy.

Last night's debate didn't end Republican questions about the administration's handling of the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador.

Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan tells CBS that "we need to get to the bottom of this" in order to keep it from happening again. He said, "As the facts come out about the Benghazi attack, we learn more troubling facts by the day."

One of the tensest moments of last night's debate came when Romney suggested that Obama's administration may have misled Americans over what caused the attack.
