LOS ANGELES (AP) - He's coming off of his strongest fundraising month of the year, but President Barack Obama is hoping to add to that total today, with the help of some of his friends in Hollywood.
His Los Angeles fundraisers today include a star-studded concert featuring entertainers including George Clooney and Stevie Wonder.
Republicans are looking to downplay Obama's recent fundraising success -- and the $181 million that Obama and the Democratic party raised in September.
Republican party chief Reince Priebus told CNN today, "We'll have all the money we need to be competitive." He said he's been counting all along on being out-raised by Obama and Democrats.
